Carver Charitable Trust, NIH, Core services, University of Iowa, and many other generous donors. It holds a large collection of cutting-edge tools, biospecimens and associated data from more than 250 brain donors to researchers worldwide to support a wide range of diagnostic, scientific discovery, educational, or therapeutic purposes. The Core is located at the Medical Research Center as a collaborative effort in the Iowa Neuroscience Institute. Our mission is to facilitate human brain and biomedical research by providing access to samples, tools, and data.
