The three dimensional configuration of chromosomes has become a major area of investigation in understanding chromosomal function in general, especially with respect to gene regulation.   Recent advances in imaging techniques have started to provide tools for evaluating chromosomes in 3 dimensions at the single cell level.

This webinar was at 1-2 pm (CST) and reviewed three emerging techniques for 3D imaging if chromosomes in situ, oligoSTORM, ORCA and oligoFISSEQ.   Biochemistry and sample preparation and workflows was reviewed, as well as how the Vutara VXL Single Molecule Localization Microscopy  system has been optimized to perform these types of studies.  For further information contact Queena Lin
