Core Coordinator - Post-Baccalaureate Research Internship

We are seeking a post-baccalaureate research assistant to join the Iowa NeuroBank Core at the Iowa Neuroscience Institute. Primary responsibilities include facilitating biobanking, acquisition of high-quality data, and assisting cutting-edge research of spatial transcriptomics. The role will involve daily interactions with scientists in cross-functional groups and daily operation of the core for various research projects. The ideal candidate will have experience working with light microscopes or slide scanners, and familiarity with analysis software and protocols in molecular biology, human neuroanatomy, digital pathology, and cutting-edge spatial technologies and epigenetics.
